Find home contractors across Georgia

Georgia Home Contractors is a free directory of home improvement contractors across Georgia, with 804 active listings. Describe your project once and it goes to up to three contractors who have claimed their listing and serve your ZIP code and trade. They contact you directly to quote. Licence details on listings are supplied by the contractor, so check any licence with the Georgia Secretary of State before you hire.

How it works

  1. Browse listings by trade, region, or ZIP code, and read moderated reviews.
  2. Send one project request. It is free, and it reaches at most three matched contractors.
  3. Matched contractors contact you by phone or email and quote you directly.
  4. Before you hire, check the licence with the Georgia Secretary of State.

Frequently asked questions

How many contractors will contact me?

Up to three. Georgia Home Contractors is not an auction: a project request goes to at most three contractors who have claimed their listing and serve your ZIP code and trade, not to everyone who paid for it. If none match yet, you are told so.

Does it cost homeowners anything?

No. Browsing the directory and sending a project request are free for homeowners. Contractors pay for memberships, lead credits, and clearly labelled sponsored placement.

Are the contractors licensed?

Georgia Home Contractors does not verify licences. A licence number on a listing is supplied by the contractor unless the listing records an administrator's review. Check any Georgia licence yourself with the Secretary of State at https://goals.sos.ga.gov/GASOSOneStop/s/licensee-search before you hire.

Do contractors quote prices on the site?

No. Contractors who receive your request contact you by phone or email and quote you directly. The optional estimator gives a planning range only, not a quote.

Are some listings paid placements?

Yes. A contractor can pay to appear first for one trade in one region, and those listings are labelled Sponsored wherever they appear. Other listings are ordered by review rating.

How are reviews handled?

Reviews written on Georgia Home Contractors are moderated before they are published. Ratings imported from Google are shown separately and labelled as Google ratings.
